Hero trio!

What a great night at the Red Cross Heroes celebration as UK HealthCare’s nominee, Lynn English, was named 2014 Hero of the Year!

Lynn is professor of physical therapy in the UK College of Health Sciences and established Samaritan’s Touch clinic to provide physical therapy services to the uninsured and under-insured in the area. Her win marks three consecutive years UK HealthCare’s nominee has received the top honor.

Linda Allen and Vicki Blevins-Booth, our 2013 and 2012 winners respectively, were also in attendance, and the Red Cross recognized Dr. Michael Karpf, UKHC executive vice president for health affairs, for supporting the Heroes campaign since its inception.

Very proud to work with folks who are so dedicated to helping others.
